ENSTONE PARISH COUNCIL
Held in Enstone Parish Hall on Thursday
11th July 2024 at 7.00 pm
PRESENT: PCs. N. Knott, P. Shaw, C. Glendinning, C. Millar, A. Ward, D. Robottom, C. Millar, H. Bourne-Taylor & DC Andrew Beaney

61. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST AND MEMBERS’ REGISTER OF INTERESTS:-
- None
62. PUBLIC DISCUSSION
- Cllr. Knott mentioned that the new wig wag sign along the Lidstone Road was not flashing at 3.00 pm on a school day. Cllr. Millar will check this and report back.
63. PUBLIC AND PRESS
To consider passing a resolution, in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960 that the public and press be excluded from the meeting for the following item by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted:-
- Enstone Relief in Need Charity – the Parish Council unanimously agreed to this resolution.
64. ENSTONE RELIEF IN NEED CHARITY
- Discussion took place regarding the Parish Council’s duty, as detailed in the Charity Commission document dated 29th October 1968, to appoint Trustees on a four yearly basis.
- The Parish Council will take advice from the Charity Commission on how to proceed with this irregularity. Trustees have not been appointed since 2017.

There being no further business the meeting closed at 8.00 pm. Cllr. Knott thanked
everyone for attending.
