Enstone Garden Club
(Formerly Enstone Horticultural Society)
The Enstone Garden Club is open to everyone in the community who shares an interest in gardens and gardening. At the January 2023 Annual General Meeting the membership agreed to a resolution to change the organisation’s name from the Enstone Horticultural Society to The Enstone Garden Club.
We have a lively programme and welcome new members. During the year we organise local events, including horticultural and flower shows, talks by gardening experts, visits to gardens in the area and other events. Please see below for our 2025 programme.
With our membership card, you are also able to obtain discounts from Applegarth Nurseries in Chipping Norton, Yarnton, Burford and Charlbury Garden Centres. Members can also benefit from discounts on seed and flower bulb orders.

New members are always welcome. Members are encouraged to subscribe or to renew their membership for 2025 by direct BACS transfer or at one of the club’s events. Subscription rates are unchanged at £10 individual and £15.00 joint. The account details are:

Willow Weaving Workshop
Saturday 29 March, 2.00 to 5.00 at St Kenelm’s, Church Enstone

A talk on “Hedgehogs – are they the gardeners best friend? Or is that just a marketing ploy to get you all to care?”

Spring Flower Show, Saturday 12 April, Enstone Parish Hall

Beautifully designed country garden with extensive views, designed for continuous interest that is always evolving. Colour schemed borders with many unusual trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants. Small formal white garden and a conservatory.

We’re excited to have secured an exclusive visit to these fabulous gardens, featuring the famous tulip display. The award-winning gardens cover around 12 acres, including the walled kitchen garden crisscrossed by paths with vegetables, fruit, herbs and flowers. The sculpture garden, the replanted granary garden with fountain and borders, as well as the individual paved gardens and parterres divided by yew hedges and more. The Lyde water garden formed out of old cress beds fed by numerous springs.

2025 Annual Flower and Produce Show

The annual show will take place in Enstone Parish Hall on Saturday 16 August, 1.30 – 4:15 p.m. Set up will be from 8.30 to 11.00.
