Providing waste disposal and household waste recycling centres (HWRCs) is a statutory service. Oxfordshire County Council is seeking to make changes to help modernise the service and drive efficiency. We recognise that proposed changes can have implications for those who use HWRCs, so residents must have the opportunity to provide their views. Feedback received will inform decision-making, along with other considerations.
This consultation is seeking views on aspects of the HWRC, including:
- Your use of our household waste recycling centres (HWRCs)
- HWRC availability
- Improving reuse and recycling at HWRCs, including the sale of second-hand/used items received at HWRCs
- Bringing waste to the HWRCs
- The van and trailer permit scheme policy
