The Book of Condolence, for people to sign, and the official photo of the Queen is on the Altar in St Kenelm’s, Church Enstone until 20 September. The Royal Household have also opened an online book of condolence – Royal Household website..
Residents can lay flowers under St Kenelm’s tower, next to the Garden of Remembrance.
It is expected that the Queen’s funeral will take place on Monday 19 September and that this day will be declared a public holiday – to be confirmed by Buckingham Palace.

The books of condolence will be closed when the offices close on the day of the funeral.
Leaving flowers and other tributes
If you would like to leave flowers or other tributes you can do so at St Mary’s Church, Witney, OX28 4AW.
Please remove all wrappings from flowers including cellophane, wire and elastic bands.
Please be aware that we will have to monitor flowers and other tributes and they may have to be removed if they cause any health and safety issues.
Proclamation event
As part of the national protocol for announcing the new Monarch, there will be a proclamation ceremony in Oxford at 1pm on Sunday 11 September which West Oxfordshire District Council will be attending along with all the other councils in Oxfordshire. More information on the ceremony is available on the Oxfordshire County Council website.
