Dear Ms Knott,
I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the kindness, patience and assistance given by the residents of Enstone in the aftermath of the aircraft accident earlier this week. The road closure and restricted access was disruptive and inconvenient, but the cooperation of all the residents nearby was appreciated and made it much easier for my AAIB team and the emergency services to undertake their tasks at the accident site.
The work of the AAIB to understand the circumstances and causes of this tragic accident continues. A full report will be published on the AAIB website in due course.
We wish all the residents of Enstone best wishes for the future.
